Learning Environments
DEGW’s global learning environments practice understands the forces reshaping education, and so our projects reflect this, as many are institutions and facilities dealing with rapid change. Whether to support new directions in teaching, learning, and research, to balance flexibility with specialisation, to leverage technology, or to accommodate distributed, networked organisations, DEGW works closely with our clients to develop their visions for the future and solutions to achieve them.
To each project, we bring a strategic perspective to align the process and outcomes with our clients’ culture and goals, and we utilise our Learning LandscapeSM approach to consider the full range of learning spaces – from formal to informal and specialised to multipurpose. As we help clients prepare for the future while addressing their needs of today, we strive for integrated thinking across scales – from the classroom to the campus.
We utilise an engaging, iterative approach so that the conversations, concepts, and conclusions build up over the course of the project. And throughout the process, we develop multiple scenarios; gather, analyse, and interpret data; and contribute knowledge in global trends, best-practices, and innovations in order to enable creative solutions and informed decision-making.
